The Sailcloth Tent
We knew this tent style would be popular, but we didn’t know HOW popular it would become! And no wonder — with its translucent canopy, gorgeous stained center and side poles, and elegant high peaks with 8′ flags… why wouldn’t you rent this tent?!
The “Casablanca” Coupe Plate
Some of our clients have said it carries a morrocan vibe, and we feel like it would be comfortable in the middle of a Pottery Barn catalog… but this coupe plate took our place settings by storm this year! It works great to build a more detailed place setting while staying on budget as it pairs well with our classic white dinner plate, and either silver or brushed gold flatware!
The Crossback Chair
With its lighter wood tones than our traditional fruitwood line, the Crossback Chair allowed for our clients to create an updated version of traditional eastern shore charm. The seat is also wider, and it looks great with or without a cushion!
Brushed Gold Flatware
This one was no surprise, as it was also a front-runner for rentals in 2017 and 2018 when we introduced the line! If you’re event has gold has an accent over silver, this flatware is the one for you! It also has a heavier feel in your hand compared to our other lines of flatware.
Blue “Debutante” Goblet
This blue “vintage feel” goblet works perfectly with our clients who want that traditional blue of the eastern shore wedding but want to update its vibe to more bohemian! We love seeing this as a replacement for the base water goblet at each place setting.
Sheer Voile Draping
Draping can definitely transform a space, and we got more requests for even subtle accents of these fabric more and more as 2019 went on!
Ths lighting style was definitely the most rented out of all of our lighting options, whether it was used inside a tent or outdoors as accent lighting for walkways, cocktail hours, patios, and more!
Black & White Dance Floor
More and more of our clients wanted to change things up this year from our traditional wood dance floor to this classic black and a white. Since each tile is 3′ by 3′ and is entirely black or white, it avoids the feeling of a “checkerboard” floor (no 50s diner resemblance here!)
Copper Mule Mugs
We noticed a trend on choosing more barware options, so of course our copper mug was super popular for a fun moscow mule signature drink option!
Gold “Dottie” Plate
For those that were less traditional and wanted a little “Kate Spade” or modern element into their tablescape, the Dottie Plate was their answer! We especially loved it paired with our brushed gold flatware and a fun bright napkin!
Were you surprised? Would you have thought other rental items would have been more popular for us in 2019? Let us know in the comments!
